Wonderful collection of photos. My ancestors did not settle in Newfolden but in Cedar Township, but it was still so interesting to see some of the events and people they may have known or attended. Excellent job!

I really enjoyed looking at all the photos and documents. Thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this website. Joan Sethre is going to take a picture of my great grandparents home as it is now. GGrandfather is H. E. Myhre and my grandparents B. C. Kuefler (Eva Myhre). I sent her a photo I have of the Myhre family in front of their house and also photos of the John Johnson family and Luelle Hansen and siblings.

I enjoyed the pictures very much! I am looking for information about my Great Great Grandfather Ole C. Larson and his wife Ida Rebecca Larson and their family who lived in New Folden circa 1900-1933. Ole's funeral service was held in the Mission Church in 1936. I would appreciate any information on how to contact the Church to research records. Is the church still in existence?

I loved looking at these pictures!!!!! I could make out from the old pictures where everything is located now in the year 2012. I wish I was around back then to experience the times then. I also saw alot of familiar names including my old buddy Wallace Johnson, my Grandpa and Grandma Joan and Stuart Sethre, and My great Great Grandma Mrs. B.K Sethre.

Her parents are my Grampa Martin Nelson and Gramma Ella Nelson. I have wonderful memories of visiting Gramma's farm in the 60s. This is a beautiful website. Thank you.

How wonderful to find these pictures. My mother (Leona Ueland) graduated from Newfolden High School, Class of 1946. Last summer, I drove through the town with family. I loved looking through all these early photos from the time Mom attended school there, and the earlier ones as well. Thank you for posting them.

Hale to Mike Weber for taking the time and effort to share all of these memories with the world. I was at a train station in Stockport, England a few yrs ago. I struck up a conversation with a local (as those of us from central Marshall County are want to do) and the question was ask; "where are you from". My answer was ; "I live in Inver Grove but home is Newfolden". My mother still cooks up 10 lbs of lutefisk at deerhunting.
