I was in boot camp.at san diego ntc.1953, on dec 10th 1953
graduated from boots with company 262, our CC was E.W.Marold.
after graduation boarded the USS Tillamook ata 192 to adak al.
cruised around the till dec-1954 then was sent to oregon. hope to hear
from some of my boots mates or shipmates

enjoyed very much. i went to boot camp in san diego in1959 and served on the tawakoni as an enginman from 1961 untill march 1963 i think, i like to remember the good times and forget the mid watches

Enjoyed your site very much. I was on the Moctobi ATF-105 from Aug 66 till Dec 69. Went from SA to BM2. Also went to Diving school in Subic in late 67 and sent bact to the Moctobi. Thanks for taking the time to make the site. You might look at Mike Turner's site Oceantugs.com.

GA. a small unincorporated community, Hog Mt. so I live in Metro Hog Mt.

I joined the Navy in 1969 and about 40 guys went to Orlando but me and another Ga boy were sent to San Diego for boot camp. I did my four years on four ships. The last one was the Atakapa ATF 149. ussatakapa.com
