This weekend is the Canton Hot Rod Show put on by Rodd Rainey who managed to get some pretty nice looking cars again this year. Every year this event gets better and better! This year he has Rudy & the Illusions & 45 RPM for your listening pleasure and Rosco P. Coltrane from Dukes of Hazzard signing autographs! The Grand Champion gets a $1,500.00 payout with a total of $3,300.00 in Cash Awards! Even the weather should hold out and be good for the trip to Canton!

The Bus Trips going to the Cobo Center in Detroit for the Detroit AutoRama are starting to fill up, so if you want a seat, check Big Al’s List for the contact information. Remember the bus’s are leaving from Austintown, Cleveland, Mentor, Pittsburgh and Wooster!
Pat O’Brien Chevrolet Swap Meet will be held Sunday, February 24 with all the parts you will ever need, Don’t miss it! Speaking of PARTS, When is the last time you checked out the Largest list of Vendors in print on Big Al’s List website? The Boy’s from Butler are having another “Town Hall” meeting on March 22. Last year there were over 300 Rodders in attendance. The site has moved across the street to Eracers Go-Kart Park at 640 Evans City Rd. (Rt. 68 West) in Butler, PA 16001and will be held on a Saturday afternoon from 4 to 9 or whenever! Many speakers will be there to talk with you including Vito Capaccio, Mike Connolly, Dan DelBianco, Dave Ehert, Ed Nelson, John Shapiro, Jim Bauer, Ken Edgar, Tom Napierkowski, Dan Chilsholm, Mike Shindle, Frank Tedesco, R D Summers, Charlie Apple and Big Al Hisself! The Cleveland AutoRama will be held March 14, 15 & 15 on the East side of the I-X Center this year and Ron Heitman has been really digging and has a “Great” line up of Rod’s and Customs to display this year! Some of Favorite Locals will have displays like Al & Don Nosse with their 33 Willy’s Riddler Contender, Tony Torre and a block of his fine tuned T & A’s! Tow Mater from Cars, Steve Hellers Unique Cars and Artwork and George Barris will be there! Did I mention the $3,500.00 Roy “Duck” Schabel memorial award?
