Wow, September is here and the Cruising is going fast and furious! We have some real fun going every day!
The Geneva Grape Jamboree Annual Showcase of pre 84 Cars is coming up on September 27 and promises to be bigger and better then last year! Don’t miss the parade, it kicks off at 1:30.
Did you say you need some PARTS? Canfield Fairgrounds will be Dave & Eds home for the 3 day weekend. If you need parts or want to sell some, this is the place to be! If you can’t find it at this Swap Meet, it’s not for sale. This has been the biggest growing Swap Meet, Car Corral and Car Show in Ohio. Bring your walking shoes!
Some bad news for you Rat Rodders, Woodcock Dam Run for pre 1962 Customs was cancelled for this year!
The Glenn Christian Church Ox Roast is this weekend and looks to be bigger and better then ever!
The City of Mentor has its Annual Cruise at the Civic Center. Remember to arrive together to park together!
The Seventh Annual North Coast PT Cruisers Labor Day Coats for Kids will be Monday! This has grown into one heck of a show, please help out with a donation to those less fortunate then we are!
Talk about a good cause, The Classic Car Show at the Stadium Grill has been moved to September 14 with a FREE Spaghetti Dinner with every Car Entrance fee paid.
Did I mention Thompson Raceway Parks 3rd. Annual Gasser Nationals? This is one bunch of fast moving rides right out of the past.
The Hot Rod Diner has its dinner on the 12th. and they pack them in every time!
Next weekend is the Frankenmuth Auto Fest in Michigan and the Drifters Car Club is putting on the Steeltown Shakedown at Twin HiWay Drive In in McKees Rocks PA. Also The Rock-A-Billy bands will float sounds all over the area covered with barn finds and rides under construction. This is racing at it’s best! the United Manual Transmission Racers Meet at Magnolia Drag Strip on Sept. 6 and at our own Thompson Raceway Park on Sept. 20. The Flashlight Drags will be racing at Zelienople Airport on Sept. 13 and Waynesburg, PA Airport on Sept. 28.
The Fallen Heroes Car Show will be held on the West Side this year at Brookgate on Sep. 6. The Rebel Run is on Sept. 18 to the 21st. in Lima. They had over 2,500 cars last year! The following week has the James Dean Festival and the Duck Tail Run in Indiana! The Mosquito Lake Show is now the Cruising by the Lake Show by the same location.
