Re: Re: Russell Turcotte

Thank you for taking the time to look at my post. I realize these message boards are "shots in the dark", however, sometimes people have a good idea or some information that can be useful. Our family is generally looking for ideas on how to perpetuate the investigation. Law enforcement is not the only alternative, nor should we assume they are doing all they can. This has been such a difficult time, it just seems there should be more..........

Thank you for your thoughts and good luck wishes. It is truly appreciated.

I am a cousin of Russell Turcotte. Russ was found murdered November of 2002 in North Dakota. He was on his way home to Montana from a "hippie gathering" in Michigan. On July 12, 2002 he phoned his mother in Montana from a convenience store in Grand Forks, ND asking her to wire him money so that he could catch the train home instead of continuing on his way hitch-hiking. She wired him the money the following day and he never picked it up. That phone call was the last our family heard from him. In November his body was discovered by a rancher along highway 2 heading towards Montana. He had been beaten to death and most all personal effects had been removed from his body. There has been virtually no information or discoveries found regarding this murder. We are looking for anyone with information or those who can assist in any way.

Re: Russell Turcotte

I am so sorry to hear about Russell. I wish I could do something, anything. You feel so helpless in times like these... the world is just so insane.... *HUGS* But I know on some level what you are feeling... my friend was murdered too... and it all seems so unreal still.. its only been three months.... and its hard to keep hope alive.. or any sort of faith in anything... i try every day... and just know that people are with you, and people care, and a lot of us understand the pain and anguish you are feeling.....
