I am happy to have found a board, where prehaps my posting belongs. My father, an admitted pedophile, committed, what we think was a murder, either in rural New York or Mass. The story goes, that he, my uncle (Thomas Sawdey who served in the New York prision system) and a child (now an adult), were traveling in a truck on a two lane road, in the evenning, and they pulled up on a couple who had a flat tire. Supposedly, the child was told to sit in the truck, but peeped out watching, the uncle, and my father attack the young man with a tire iron, and tie him to a tree. The girl, dressed in a formal dress (the witness, called her a Princess because of it), began screaming and running down the road. One of the men chased her, and brought her back screaming, and the two men took turns raping her. They tied her to a tree, and cut her face and throat. They returned to the boy and castrated him. They left them tied to the tree. The time frame, given that the unlce went to prision in 1972 for manslaughter and was released in 1987 (refer to the New York Buearu of Prisions Site, Thomas Sawdey), the crime had to have occurred between 1971 and early 1972. At that point in time, we resided around Dansville, NY. However, we are from a large family, stretching from Dansville, Mt. Morris, Gennesseeo, Batavia, Perry, Sawyerville, Rochester to Castile (near Buffollo). I know for a fact that my father has made reference to this attack, and moved from the area, aburptly, several hundred miles away. He has returned to the New York area, after parole from South Carolina for various charges. Anyone with information about this couple please email me. I have sent this information to the FBI and to various New York law enforcement agencies. I am not seeking revenge against my father, vengence is an issue to deal with on his judgement day, I am however, seeking to assist the family who have either lost the couple to the hands of these two men, or at least help them find some closure.
