I have a friend who was murdered in August 1994. She was hitchhiking from vancouver to Arizona. She was last seen at Burns Bros Travel Stop in Wilsonville, Oregon. A trucker had picked her up and left her there. Her body was found march 13 1995 near Portland, Oregon (Klammath Falls) Her belongings (waist pouch, wallet and passport) were found in a Burns Bros Travel Stop in Corning California shortly after her disapearance.




Nicole Hétu was 23, spoke French and English (with a strong accent) She had curly reddish blond shoulder length hair, 5 feet tall, 105 pounds. She was wearing blue jeans and a Costa Rica T-shirt. She had a big purple BackPack that has never been found. She was going to a peace Festival in Arizona.




She was found strangled near a highway, a route patrol found her body. The body was too badly decomposed to know if she was sexualy assaulted. She had her clothes on, without any underwear.
