From my own concerns for other people, and the want of comfort for the family of these unknown victims, I hope that this will resolve the anguish they must experience. In the time frame of 1971 or early 1972, two men attacked at couple on the road side, either in New York or Mass. The location is uncertain, due to our families moving around, but the time frame is certain, because one of them went to prision in 1972 (see New York State Dept Correction, Thomas Sawdey). The story,told to me by a younger sibling, has been commented on by one of the perts over the years. We are just now, years later, putting the peices together. The witness, then preschool age, was riding in a truck with my uncle (Sawdey) and my father. In the late evening, they pulled off the road, behind a couple who had a flat tire. They couple, dressed in formal clothes, were glad to see help arrive. The two men offered to help them, and the young man opened the trunk of his car, one of the men, took the cross bar, and smashed it against the young man's head. The girl ran down the road screaming, and was drug back by her hair. They tied the boy to a tree, and took turns raping the girl. After they finished, they tied her to tree, and slashed her face and throat. They casterated the young man, and left them on tied up. One fact that might stick out, was that the boys genital were put in his mouth after castration. Shortly afterwards, my father moved from the area, when people began fire bombing our home, when my uncle was arrested for the murder of his elderly landlord. We moved to SC, and changed addresses twice a year until 1976. I am sure that the story is true, and know that both are capable of such. I was directly told by my father that he had killed "some stupid kids" on the road. Tieing these things together, I do beleive that my father was involved. I just don't know any other way to get the word out. Please consider this case. He is in very poor health, and the window of oppurtunity is closing quickly.
