stolen 1930s Gibson L-37 archtop

FON 1198-6 or 1198B-6 (hard to see)
Portland Police case #2016-900618

Small archtop guitar with narrow f-holes. Tobacco burst, elevated fake-tortoise pickguard, inlaid shell dots on fingerboard, adjustable bridge, and nickel plated trapeze tailpiece. Guitar was in a newer black rigid-foam TRIC brand case with backpack straps.

I have the original invoice from when I bought it, and a written appraisal from Gruhn. Photo on request.

Hello Martha Jackson,

I have seen your Craigslists ad in San Diego and Los Angeles listings but not in a while. Remembered your guitar, googled "stolen gibson archtop." which led me hear and wanted to send this eBay link as it looked familiar:

Goodluck and hope you eventually get your instrument returned. If so, please send an update to Craigslist in San Diego or LA.

Regards,
E

Many thanks, but my guitar has no back burst, and the top burst is smaller.
