Hey. I think the whole story of Mark and Taylor was just amazing. It really bothered me to know, that incidents like that have really took place! That through peoples hatred and misunderstanding and some times blatant ignorance...young lives can be wasted. It hurts me...every day since reading "The Soccer Field is Empty" to know that there are poeple who can not accept true love in any forms. Sure, I know that Mark and Tay were fictional characters, but in real life there have been poor boys and girls just like them. Knowing that people have been hurt and abused so badly, that they would end their own suffering...even though it meant that they would never get to enjoy their true love...has been bothering me ever since reading it. Mr. Roeder did such an amazing job in that novel, I could not thank him enough for getting so many emotions so perfect. There really was no point to this post...oh well, here is to a future where any form of true love goes unpunished!
