Okay, in "Someone is Watching" (totally awesome book) Ethan is, like, super in love with his Uncle Jack, right? But in books where he's older, like, in, oh say, "Someone is Killing the Gay Boys in Verona (HELP!" Heh, heh, well I thought it would be a nice addition to the title), he's, like, still hung up on the death of those people, dude thngs, you know the ones that, like killed themselves, or whatever. And let's face it, if his Uncle Jack thing is supposed to be like seventy in 1980, then he'd have to die eventually. So why doesn't Ethan care!???!!! I don't know, like I said, it's just a dumb thought.
