Dear Sirs,

In reviewing the Bravo Company Memorial page, on your site, I found the name of GORDON W. STOFLET missing.



Gordon was my first childhood friend, between kindergarten and fourth grade. As post WWII kids, . . . . we always wanted to be Marines. We both made it. I never had to go over. Gordy never came back.



Gordon was hit in Operation Union about two days, or so, before the operation ended. With a head wound he was sent home to Bethesda Naval Hospital out east. He died from his wounds in June of 1967.



I would request that you add his name to the Bravo Company's memorial page. If you need more info I can connect you with his family here in Madison, Wisconsin. . . . where he was from. . . . and where he rests.



Gordy was a L/Cpl.



Both myself and his family are still looking for Marines who knew or served with him. If you can give us any guidance, we'd certainly appreciate it.
