Apparently your poem has been plagiarized, altered and copied; although I have to say that it hasn\'t lost anything by this. Still, having served in the Army for twenty years, I feel I should apologize for my fellow service-member\'s lack of respect for your property. Thank you for a wonderful poem.

Thank you. I found this website trying to find the rest of the Daddy\'s Day poem. I still have both of my dads in this world but to hear how a child could stand up on a day that could end up being the worst day ever to have to attend, it was amazing. When I read your poem \"Daddy\'s Day\" for the first time, it made me cry; because I felt alone and sad for my children (10,8,6) not having their mother with them here on earth (2.5 yrs gone). But, it also affirmed me. This is why I go to both \"dad\'s day\" and \"mom\'s day\" events at school. This is why I love receiving both mother\'s day and father\'s day gifts. Because I can only hope that at the end of the day, the example that I set, the answers that I give, and the love that I shower upon my children will allow them to be as intimately and spiritually connected to their Mama as the little girl in this poem is to her daddy.
