Hundreds of events all over this Month. Here are a just few of them.

Shows - Cruise-Ins - Swap Meets
The University Circle Veterans Car Show is being held at the Cleveland, Ohio Veterans Hospital next to the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum on Saturday August 3rd. Free admission to the museum for participants. Bring a little joy to the hospitilized vets and show them your cars. Optional veterans memorial services at 10am at Lakeview Cemetary and a parade to the show area. Show at 11am. Rib Burn-off too. We'll be there. ---more info---


The Northern Ohio Chapter of the Oldsmobile Club of America is holding its 30th Annual All Oldsmobile Show & Swap Meet on Sunday August 25, 2013 at the Carnation City Mall in Alliance, OH. This is the Show you need to be at with your Oldsmobile! This is open to all Oldsmobile's from 1897 to 2004. ---more info---

Speaking of Oldsmobiles, it's time for the annual Rocketfest in Westfield, Ohio on August 10th open to anythin powered by a 1949 to 1959 Olds Rocket engine. Swap meet too. ---more info---

Chardon Classic Car and Bike Show on the Square in Chardon, Ohio on August 11th is in a beautiful setting and makes for a great family day with a Corn Hole Tournament, children's activities, Chinese auction, bake sale. This is a popular show in it's 15th year Presented By the Chardon Community Action Team. This show has continued to grow every year and is one you don't want to miss. See you there! ---more info---

The Corn Fest in Willoughby Hills is on August 18, 2013 and is one super show! For participants, there is plenty of parking under the trees, Vendors Galore, Corn any way you could want it, Fireworks, Car Show, all pre 1986 cars are welcome. ---more info---

Guitars & Cars Dual Swap Meets at Renningers Twin Markets in Mount Dora, FL is another August 11th event. For a 2$ Admission Price for Spectators with Children under 14 Free with adult, you get a lot. For participants, there is plenty of parking under the trees, Vendors Galore, Cash Prizes, and Trophies given out at noon. Music Swap Meet & Jam start at 12pm and go until 5pm. Don't forget to visit the Farmers and Flea Market & the Antiques Center (admission to these two markets is ALWAYS FREE! ---more info---

There are car shows in Southwest Florida in the summer. Check out Muscle Car City's Monthly Car Show in Punta Gorda on August 17th and the swap meet on August 25th. Super museum to visit too. ---more info---

Long Island Cars Car Show & Swap Meet at MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, NY is held on on August 25th and Features Classic and collectible automobiles including show cars from the fifties, sixties and seventies, one-of-a-kind custom cars, street rods, antiques, exotics, muscle cars and imports. There are 50 classes. Hundreds of vendors will be well stocked for this show, where you can buy, trade, sell or swap all kinds of older parts, literature and accessories necessary for the auto collector. ---more info---

Mill Hollow Park 15th Annual Car Show at in Vermillion, OH for all cars 25 years and older (No Motorcycles) on August 11th. Bring your street rods, muscle cars, custom, vintage trucks and vans. This a a FREE show - NO ENTRY FEE - NO REGISTRATION. The have Great Door Prizes, Childrens Games & activities, Fantastic Raffles, Morning Coffee and Donuts for a donation, Food Vendors available and T-Shirts for sale. We attended this event in 2010 and counted over 4000 cars - get there early. ---more info---

Back To the Bricks 9th Annual Cruise & Car Show in Downtown Flint, MI goes from Tuesday Aug. 13th through Saturday. Tuesday:FREE Drive-In Movie & Car Show 5pm US-23 Drive In. Wednesday:Swap Meet, Craft/Yard Sale and a Rolling Cruise. Thursday: Swap Meet, Craft/Yard Sale, and a Rolling Cruise. Friday: FREE Hot Dogs at Dukes Car Stereo from 11am to 3pm, Car Show at 6pm, Vendor Marketplace. Saturday: Car Show Downtown. Many bands to provide live music each day. ---more info---

For the Corvette lovers, Corvettes on Woodward Food Drive & Cruise at the Radisson Hotel in Bloomfield Hills, MI on August 14th through 16th will provide you with a lot to do. Expect 500 or more Vettes to show up. TOURS OF: GM Heritage Center, GM Performance Build Center, Katech Engines, Advanced Automotive Technologies, Race Car Replicas, Alternative Automotive Technologies, Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, Ford Rouge Factory Tour, Walter P.
