Celebrate the holidays with ‘Summer at the Quarter’ in Maidenhead
Saturday 3rd August 1pm to 5pm
Maidenhead’s Waterside Quarter is set to come alive this August with the launch of its ‘Summer at the Quarter’ event, bringing to life a whole host of exciting free activities and live entertainment for all to enjoy.
Taking place from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday 3rd August, the free-to-attend event promises an afternoon of fun, featuring free boat rides along the waterway, live music, a pop-up bar, ice cream van, and much more!
Thanks to the Friends of Maidenhead Waterways, free boat rides will be running during the afternoon, offering an exciting new way to view the area. Live music from talented local artists will fill the air, providing entertainment for passersby and those soaking up the lively atmosphere in one of the many deck chairs that will be adoring the streets of the waterside.
While enjoying the other fantastic activities available, visitors can refresh themselves at the Coppa Club pop up bar that will be serving up delicious spritzes and coolers throughout the afternoon or grab a slice of pizza from Presto to tantalise their tastebuds. Offering a nostalgic treat for visitors, an ice cream van will also be bringing back the classic 99 cone for just 99p.
For the fitness fanatics, F45, a local gym, will be handing out goodie bags and hosting a competition for a chance to win a free month’s membership at their studio in the quarter itself.
Managing Director of Sorbon Estates, Katherine Croom, said: “We are thrilled to host the first ever ‘Summer at the Quarter’ event at our Waterside Quarter development in Maidenhead. The Waterside Quarter area is a brilliant location for a vibrant day to bring the local community together, we look forward to seeing visitors enjoy a fantastic day out”.
