The Cookham Festival donates £6,473 to help with the renovation of Pinder Hall
The Cookham Festival is a celebration of the arts that takes place every 2 years in Cookham to raise money to promote the arts in the local area. Last year’s festival resulted in over £20,000 in donations to village schools & art projects.
With the success of the 2022 festival, the committee are pleased to announce that it has been able to make a further donation of £6,473 to the recently launched Pinder Hall Renovation Project, set up to raise money for much needed repairs to the building.
The Committee also agreed that the Pinder Hall will be the principal beneficiary of next year’s Cookham Festival fundraising as it provides a valuable asset as a venue for the arts and other local events which enhance our community.
Pinder Hall is a principal venue for the Cookham Festival and is at the heart of the three Cookhams. Next year’s festival dates are 3rd May to 19th May 2024 when Pinder Hall will be an integral part of the festival programme.
