Occupation given as DRIVER R.H.A

Spinster and full age at time of marriage.

Father of Husband:

Listed as EDWARD SIMPSON, a Laborer, but I know his father is unknown and his mother wasn't married. Edward Simpson is his English Grandfather.

Other information:
Her family were Catholic, but she must have been pregnant already with their son Frederick (born 1872), so may be why they married in the protestant Church.

All other Children were raised and Baptised Catholics, including those born in Bournemouth, Hampshire, England when they were moved to England.

Irish born (Dublin) Chirldren:
FREDERICK SIMPSON born 1872
ELIZABETH CHARLOTTE SIMPSON 07 Oct 1876

Baptism of ELIZABETH C SIMPSON of ROYAL BARRACKS (now Collins Barracks and the Museum) on 22 October 1876

Baptism Place: RC Parish of RATHMINES, Dublin, Ireland

Name ELIZABETH C SIMPSON
Date of Birth 7 October 1876
Address ROYAL BARRACKS
Father EDWARDI SIMPSON
Mother ELEONORAE MC AULIFFE

Sponsor 1 MICHAELE CASEY
Sponsor 2 MARIÂ NEILLE

You will notice the names are in Latin, as the Roman Catholic Church did this which is probably why we have so many spelling differences with Irish records.

They went on to have two more children in Bournemouth, England and these were Baptised / married in Corpus Christi RC Church, Bournemouth, England.

Anyy help would be appreciated. Also have other Irish links (not McAuliffe).

Wendy.
