Ibis

Last year we planted some new pasture (10 acres) replacing former apple orchards around the house - some lawn and some for grazing. We have now been joined by a majestic flock of up to 40 Straw Necked Ibis which patrol the area. While they look good, we have also heard that they can be damaging (removing worms)and could be a sign of cut worm or **** chaffer which could damage the pasture. Can anyone please advise whether we should be concerned about any aspect or whether we should just enjoy their company. Thanks Roger
