Visiting SE Australia

Greetings to all. As an American, I have been to your country once for some great birding and have decided to come back for round two! I am on my way to East Gippsland for some birding March 18-24.

However, I have been surprised at how little information I can find on the status and distribution of birds for that region. My searches on the web have fruitless.

The national parks in question would be Snowy River, Errinundra, Lakes NP, Bemm River area, and Croajingolong National Park. I'm having difficulty finding even a trip report for the area.

I have not had this problem for Cairns, Darwin, Brisbane, or SW Victoria - only this area.

So basically I'm appealling to anyone out there for published information (including the web) of the status and distribution of birds for that area. I have a vague idea given the field guides, but that's all I've got. Any help would be appreciated.

Where are you from? U.S.A.
