Hello, everyone. this is a very long shot, i know. but im trying to help trace the service-man father of a friend of mine. If any one has any information on the 83rd engineering battalion, could they contact me. thankyou

My Dad was in the 83rd, "Harold Gerth" died August 2003.

I am so sorry, I transposed the unit number.... My dad was in the 38th.
