TCIA Finding For Acknowledgment of the Remnant Yuchi Nation of Kingsport TN

exactly HOW and with what documentation did TCIA determine these groups were "legit"?!!
"Remnant Yuchi Nation" Application for state tribal recognition 19 june 2010

    - no sources, no historical evidence of group's prior existence, no local Yuchi history, no documented Yuchi relationship, no government record, no bylaws, no list of officers, no 1857 or current membership rolls.
    - total proof / historical evidence / basis for recognizing the group as a tribe
    = 4 sentences:

    (1) "The Yuchi have been identified as indigenous to the State of Tennessee by many sources through-out history."

    (2) "The majority of the members of the Remnant Yuchi Nation reside in the following Tennessee Counties. Sullivan, Carter, Greene, Hawkins, Unicoi, Johnson, Washington"

    (3) "Membership in the Remnant Yuchi Nation requires that applicants establish a blood tie to the original Master Roll dated March 21, 1857."

    (4) "The Remnant Yuchi Nation is governed by the Chief, Vice Chief and a seven member tribal council."

    that's it.
    4 sentences.
Approved as a Native American Indian tribe recognized by the State of Tennessee.

To me, it seems like deliberate perpetuation of fake/fraud culture clubs - bordering on and looking quite like criminal fraud in my humble opinion.

    Re: Denied. Surprised? No.

Certainly not surprised, those Remnant idjits should have known the BIA would actually read their "documentation." Unlike that idiot Mumpower.
