Re: Cumberland Plateau Powwow coming this weekend!

We'll be going. At least on Saturday. Sunday's my BD so, I think we have other plans.
We haven't danced in soooo long. The weather should be nice.
    Anyone else going?

Re: Cumberland Plateau Powwow coming this weekend!

If you don't want your regalia ruined you better bring back up mud boots. Every year it is a swamp, and it is suppose to rain there all day tomorrow and even tonight!!! It will be the usual mud hole

    Spoken like a true Cuckoo!!!

I've been to the Cumberland Plateau Pow Wow four or five times prior to this year, and it definitely is not a "swamp every year" as Ms. Cuckoo DeVille states.

Prior to last year, when the rains came down hard & heavy around 2:30 in the afternoon, the only other time that it rained when I was there was the second year of the event - but it was held indoors that year, so it didn't really matter!

It did rain on Saturday this year, but didn't start until around 4:30 or so. I'm not sure what it did on Sunday, since I had to work & couldn't make it back.

no matter what you decide to do - and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

    Re: enjoy your weekend

Thanks! We're still watching the weather. It all depends if too much rain is in the forcast. We always bring clear moccasin cover-ups where ever we go.

    Re: enjoy your weekend

That's always smart, my granny rainboots keep disappearing. Where they go, I have no idea.
