change happens from the bottom up - call with YOUR ideas

    http://www.dccc.org/page/s/ideascall

    Dear Donna,

With President Obama's inauguration now in the history books, it's time to get to work immediately to deliver the bold change that America needs.

On February 5th, all of the Members of our Democratic Majority will join President Obama for our annual issues conference to set our policy priorities for the year – and we want to hear from you.

That's why I'm inviting you to participate in our Ideas for Change Forum. This online gathering will give you the opportunity to make your voices heard as House Democrats and President Obama gather to set our agenda for change.

Sign up today to join the Ideas for Change Interactive Conference Call.

Just as President Obama has called on every American to join together in renewing America's promise, Speaker Pelosi and our Democratic Majority in Congress can't create the change we need without you.

We want to hear your thoughts as we discuss ways to create millions of new jobs, make health care more affordable, and declare America's energy independence.

Sign up today to join the Ideas for Change Interactive Conference Call.

Unlike the Republicans who only invited high-powered lobbyists paying $25,000 or more to participate in their issues conference, we want our grassroots supporters like you to give us your ideas for change.

Just as we did last year, let's prove again that real change happens from the bottom up.

    ---------------------

maybe Obama's stimulus package isn't the best; maybe it won't work as well as many hope. Republicans in the House voted together against the package in its entirety. The Senate's vote will go the same with even Democrats voting against it because THEY are hearing from Republican voters who WANT to see Obama - never mind anything he might try - FAIL.

One thing IS guaranteed: if we allow the status-quo to continue on as it has, "Change" won't happen. Just as it was important to change things from the last 8 years, it's no less important NOW to make sure our future is good.

One thing IS for sure, nothing will happen unless WE continue to speak up.

    Any time; every time.

Re: change happens from the bottom up - call with YOUR ideas

input fore Obama FREE LP and for the others like pelosi and that other wingnut reid they will not change crap why the govt bean counters once in get into the machine which is not the issue it is the sobs like these two, who get thiers and the hell with john Q public, or this Obama cant do anything why the entrenched monkey butts like pelosi and reid and the repubs all a bunch of lying crooks, and again FREE LP

Re: Re: change happens from the bottom up - call with YOUR ideas

yup, many go in with such high ideals only to get shot down about as soon as they step in the door. The entrenched ones who've been there so long, who "know folks", who know their way around, and have racked up 'favors' - they need to GET OUT. John Q public is and always will be screwed by them (just look at the latest "bonuses" at John Q public's expense!)

And yeah, one thing that won't cost John Q public another billion dollars: ¡FREE LP!
