I am trying to trace my mothers family. She was Hilda Jeanne Harp, Her father was John Melvin Harp and his father was Charles Willis Harp. They lived in Haynesville, Louisiana, Claiborne Parish. Does anyone have any connections?? Please contact me!!

Ours is Almareen(Alverine) Harp, son of William Harp and Sally Stanton (at least as far back as we have verified). Also, I think your page is great. It amazes me how the Harp family seems to have retained its looks after so many generations. I can see similarities in the features of your Harp's to those of our family.

Hi Dana my name is Maria harp Braden my dads name is wilburn harp and his dad is elmer lee harp. Thats really all i know except Elmer was married to Lily Osborne.AND ELMERS DAD WAS BEN HARP.I just think it is really great to know how many Harps are out there.I just hope this info is as interesting to you as what all ive read is to me.
