i don't expect anyone here to believe me. the box-office receipts of their movies as a 'loveteam' will speak for the stature of their tandem. as far as i know, only kahit isang saglit had an overseas premiere - guam - and 'overkill' promos. it was the launchin pad of their tandem after all with leandro munoz as ka-triangle. if bdt and ttwy had overseas premieres, the total grosses of their films will be even higher. bdt was hardly promoted compared to kis. in ttwy, juday accomplished most of the guestings on her own because piolo had to fulfill singing engagements abroad. despite less 'overkill' promos, bdt and ttwy prevailed when they were shown.

agree ako na piolo/juday siguradong patok but kung juday lang alam naman natin na w/o piolo mahina ang movie nya except yong kasama nya si fpj and sharon,last year pinanood ko movie nya, mas marami ang nanood ng sabel compare don sa ai****emasu(sa mga sinehan na pinanoodan ko ha)sa

point well-taken as a last word on that, mr. lopez did say it in front of reporters - abs-cbn personnel - present during the signing...

as for sabel and ai****e imasu, i already made mention in another thread that the subject matter of these two movies turned off some conservative juday fans...and i still am proud that she made those films not thinking of box-office returns (as she stated in her interviews) but a way for her to finally shed her 'inaapi' characters and 'pa-cute' roles into more challenging portrayals...

the common denominator for the 'loveteam' films she made with wowie, the late rico and piolo is juday so i give her credit as well...it is a rare feat to be in three successful 'partnerships'...it's not quite obvious but both isusumbong and magkapatid were made at a time when both the late fpj and sharon were undergoing changes in their career...even if juday only played support to sharon, aminado si sharon (whose last movie was the mild hit pagdating ng panahon with robin padilla) that juday's presence helped in the box-office receipts...in several interviews of mega, she said that their combination was accepted by the movie-going public...and in the same manner, aminado din si juday na napanood siya ng A-B audience ni Megastar (in an interview for FLIP magazine) for the first time in her career dahil masa (C-D-E) talaga ang karamihan sa sumusuporta sa kanya...

...as for the late fpj, an excerpt from an inquirer article which i happen to agree with...

"He (FPJ) saw that the movie times and audience were changing, and that mature stars like him had to establish a connection with the young viewers who now comprise the majority of local moviegoers. That's why he hit upon the idea of co-starring with rising young sensation Judy Ann. Their film, "Isusumbong Kita sa Tatay Ko," was really no great shakes, but it succeeded in attracting a "double audience"--FPJ's action fans and Judy Ann's screaming diehards. The movie ended up setting a new attendance record and FPJ was firmly in the driver's seat again."

in other words 'kakaibang loveteam' ang juday-fpj at juday-mega...with juday as the common denominator again...it does not always work like the highly-anticipated pero halatang minadali na 'jeannie, bakit ngayon ka lang? with juday-robin...may mga ibang writers kasi na naaalala lang si juday kapag hindi naabot ang standard na ine-expect kay juday na kitain ng mga pelikula niya pero kinalilimutan ang contribution niya kapag kumita nang todo...let's wait na lang how the press will write about her reunion film with piolo...

I have so much faith sa TANDEM ng JUDAY/PIOLO dahil eversince Im a good follower ni PIOLO. Iba talaga ang team up nila ni Juday. At aminin natin na malakas talaga ang chemistry at attraction nila sa MOVIE at sa TV. At talagang Nandiyan pa ang mga die hard fans nilang dalawa.For me I absolutely watch their tandem kasi malakas talaga CHEMISTRY nila... nabalitaan din ba ninyo yoong FANS DAY nila sa carabana sabi ang dami daw fans na nagpunta..I love PIOLO and I will patronize kahit sino pa ang partner niya.

They were supposed to be featured in an upcoming MMK episode to be shot in Bohol but Juday's manager nixed the project so Piolo will have another leading lady. I guess it's good...in a way...so that their next project is on the BIG SCREEN not the small screen...

It was not nice and interesting because juday and pilo are the ones really ment for each other!!!

Iam not filipino but sometimes my wife watches TFC.
I started watching Walang Kapalit(maybe wrong spelling)but any way. PP plays in it. I just think there is to much drama on this series. i think he should be doing action movies not love stories. To much crying for a guy.
