How should the international community react to the threats made by the Iranian government to Israel ?

It's 2009 and no one has done anything about it so I think Israel is going to take matters into their own hands. http://samsonblinded.org/news/israel-decided-on-attacking-iran-9443 Obama said he would do everything in his power during the presidential campaign when he was trying to get jewish votes but he's tried talking to Iran and Iran isn't interested. Certainly countries will complain loudly but there's no one that wants to see Iran with nuclear weapons and that includes Iran's "allies".
