can someone explain the triple crown, and how it benifits a team?

The triple crown was done the last two years this year we didnt offer that. It would have been stated by each tournament. The 3 tournamnets would have been Memphis . St LOUIS & INDY. for everyone who thought we had that sorry for the confusion.

IF the triple crown wasnt offered this year than why did all those teams think that it was? I am sure it was advertised at some point, that is why all the teams that traveled this past weekend to the LOU feel like this tournament was a big hoax, no disrespect to the Teams from the LOU, lots of talented teams up there, but nobody would have traveled to the LOU for that low Pay out, and shady bracket, they would have all waited to Play in the Nelly tournament to see the same teams. The Basa needs to realize that there are more teams nationally without sponsorship than there are teams with sponsorship, to have teams traveling to tournaments under false pretenses is a sure fire way to lose participation from what actually makes up most of the basa(the un-sponsored teams)

Enough said BiggDogg!At some point,they have to realize this.

I've been playing ball in St. Louis for over 10 years and this is probably the shaddiest sanction tournamet in town. Always has been.

well ihave no idea who told them that this was a triple crown i guess they assume from last year but i assure you we didnt adverise. I WOULD HOPE THAT YOU WOULD CHECK THE TOURNAMENT INFO AND MAKE SURE OF THESE THINGS PRIOR TO EACH TOURNMANENT. THE TRIPLE CROWN WOULD HAVE STARTED IN MEMPHIS AND IM SURE YOU WOULD HAVE HEARD OF WHO HAD THE MOST POINTS FROM THAT ONE TO CARRY OVER TO THE ST LOUIS TOURNAMENT. ALL I CAN SAY IS WE DEFINITELY DIDNT TRY TO MISLEAD YOU

....LOW PAY-OUT....please....only ones with $$$$$$$$ was STL$900 or better.......Detroit.....$1000....now what has others offered....besides a dance...be real...lay-off STL and just appreciate the GAME...it's only bad when YOU lose......go figure

Church you can defend the St. Louis tournaments if you want to that is your god given right, and no one ever complained about the St. Louis teams or the level of competition they provide, but dont try to come down on the teams that feel they have been mislead, or cheated with misimformation, you are on this board everyday, but that doesnt make your opinion gold, the tournament director was asked several questions prior to the tournament,on this board and on the phone, for instance were there two divisions, was it a triple crown, and so forth, St louis has good ball fields and great teams I cant stress that enough, but right is right and wrong is wrong, and if the information was clear, some un-sponsored teams would have saved their St. louis trip for the Nelly tournament, not a disappearing triple crown, two divisions oh now that you are here its one division, B/S tournament like that one, like I said in a earlier post on the subject my biggest satifaction was meeting and playing against the Browns,.....Dennis Davison North Chicago Ballers #25
