Y'all would never beleive what happened to me this afternoon, everybody I want to call and tell is at work, so I'll tell the board to get this steam off my chest. I was leaving the local community college where I have my internship, when out of nowhere 2 white boys come running down the stairs, almost knowcking me down if I had not of moved out of the way, and throwing the n word around like it wasn't nothing, I thought they were talking to each other until I saw them turn back and look at me and laugh and add the b&*^h to it. then their car happened to be parked next to mine, so when I walked up on them I just glared at them through the winfdo, and they had the nerve to roll down the window to make more comments as if to intimidate me. I don't know how I was goin gto take on both of them, but at that point I had sooo much anger built up inside of me i told them I suggested they roll up that window...they saw somebody coming rolled it up and left....WHAT /...in 2006 this type of s^&t is still going on. What were they going to prove by jumping me??

ok y'all here's an update, the police came to my house took a report, just 5 minutes ago the officer came back to the door and had the one of the guys on the phone, made him apologize to me, got in his S**t, and told him if this continued what the charges would be since the harrasment was racially charged. WHen the officer first contacted him the boy lied and said he didn't know what the officer was talking about. THen the officer lied and said that they have me and the boys on camera at the location and then his story changed. He started telling the oficer that he was in the military and he wouldn't do anything like that. Like the military don't have racist people in it. The officer told me to call if I see them on campus and they even look at me funny, becuase they will go to jail.

All I can tell you is, just be carefully Ms.Dat, cause people can do some evil s*** out there.

Ms. Dat, i'm truely sorry that such a thing like this still exsist. It seems like it come in spurts or at random, I work in a doctors office and not to long ago a older white women addressed me as the N word and proceeded to call me girl while i triage her and put her in a room to be seen by a doctor in my office(white) the doctor heard her say these things and told the lady that that was unacceptable and that if she doesn't like the people that work here then she needed to find another doctor's office. I thanked the doctor for that, but if that had been me about 5 years ago I would have pop that old lady and had no problem with the consequincies THANK GOD i ain't what I use to be. And all you need to do is go to your near by recruiter and tell him there name. Ms Dat i definitely feel you. i had a similiar experience at a softball tournament where i was the only black face at the tournament. there where some words exchange promoted by my being accused of using an illegal bat after my hitting 1 of my 4 homers. upon leaving the field with my bat in hand two guys in front of me were conversing and one made a statement refering to me as a ******. i could have easily taking my bat and medi vac both of these guys but if so i would be locked up right now and not enjoying the softball life of the basa. i exposed this guy locally and he later called me to apologize because he knew the way the local guys roll down in south ga and he knew that he was going to have to answer for that one. so there are better ways to handle those types of situation than violence. he won the battle that day but i won the war. the positive that came out of it is that i found the BASA.

oh yes, and I already got some back up ready for them...
