As we celebrate God's promise of increase and inheritance, as we prepare to enter and possess the land of milk and honey, let us not allow our minds to be idol but be inspired, imagining the probable and the impossible. Then as we enter in, as we expand our boundaries, as we enlarge our territories, as we exceed our expectations, and as we enjoy our elevation, God instructs us to: Remember the Lord God who brought us out of Egypt; Remain in covenant and keep His commandments; And Rely always on God as we did during our wilderness journey. Don't change who you are when God changes where you are, and what you are.
And you shall remember that the Lord your God
led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness,
to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart,
whether you would keep His commandments or not.
For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land,
a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs,
that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley,
of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil
and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity;
in which you will lack nothing.
Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not
keeping His commandments, His judgments, and His statues
which I command you today. And you shall remember the
Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get
wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He
swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
