Hopefully all went well this year with the divisions. Would you consider adding a womens' rec. to each of the tourneys. You had more rec than comp for the world, the other world had 16 comp but 32 rec. If you offer a rec. div for the women you may get more teams. Understandable some tourneys dont have many women's teams at all i.e. the Memphis tourney this year had 9 total and some were rec. teams. But look at the Atlanta Classic you had as many if not more rec. women. If you offer both and dont get many teams then you could always make it an equalizer that way it would be worth the while of the rec teams. And if its a money tourney then split the money. Its only been in the last couple of years that money has been offered on the women side so the greed for winner take all is not there yet and from what I can tell the women want to see more teams involved and be able to play different teams instead of the same ones. You come out better and more teams want to play if you offer something to the top 3 instead of 1st then everyone feels like they have a chance. Rec. women would rather play rec. but if its absolutely necessary they will play where its all together.
