Yesterday, officers from Windsor & Maidenhead ICR & Priority Crime Team in conjunction with BT Openreach, arrested three males who were in the process of attempting to steal high value underground copper. Their actions and damaged caused resulted in over 1,200 customers having their services disrupted, repairs still ongoing. The three males have successfully been charged with Attempted Theft & Criminal Damage and remanded to appear before Magistrates Court this morning, 23rd May 2024.
