We is too busy caring for our old aged Mothers, recently rescued from death and hospital food, to engage in seamly politics and (Hi Mommy eat your prunes) too busy basking in the warm love of family (No, Mommy that isnt Bin Ladin knocking at the door - it just the UPS) and rejoicing at a (Yes, Mommy I love you I LOVE YOU IIIII LOOOOOOVE YOOOOOU) household exemplifying love and devotion and (No Mommy I am not mad at you - your just so $#@#! deaf I have to SHOUT everything) and I SICK OF THIS - GIVE ME NUMBER OF NEARIST REST HOME oops I must calm down ........
It is tempting to collect documents over the ages proving various points but quite frankly why should I care when I have already proven it to myself? My vast collection deals with exellence and technology and if that revolves around denial it is understood what I collect is as phoney as the era it came from. I have lived thru times and observed: the American Civil Rights Period, the American - Viet Nam War, the Rise and Fall of the Aerospace Industry, Watergate, the Gulf War, the Fall of Communism ect as always there was no shortage of foolish predictions and/or pathalogical denial of what was to be. Before that it was World War II and on and on. The Conservatives made fools of themselves as did the Liberals, the Christains and most certainly those in the Occult - Metaphysical movement including A.M.O.R.C !
Yeah that is right but don't ask me for proof. That is just another form of denial. Indeed the most perenial thruths about politics and religion and rather a lot of things is that they don't work anyways and other things work so well they can not be stopped no matter what.
It was said Mother Teresa never engaged in politics and that is why she accomplished so much and so little. Help for the many and change for the few. You wonder if the people on the top remember the simple life they are suposed to be protecting even as the people on the bottom forget what they are fighting for. Traditionally you can't do much of anything with out getting nasty at times but that becomes habit forming.
Hi Mommy - remember what day of the week it is? It is Friday - can you hobble out to the car with me and go get some clam chowder?
Yes I know that Life can seem very difficult at times, and it is, BUT it is a learning experience that we must have on this earth. These events that you give are being experienced by millions at this very moment. Some how we will overcome these events and will be a stronger person. Mysticism makes this more understandable and gives us tools to work with. I don't want to imply that life is easy, but some how, with the help of the Cosmic, you will come out a winner.

While we will be despised for awhile, I think that eventually, we will come out smelling like a rose. After we establish a forum for a democracy, the Arabs will see what they are missing. It will not only help Iraq, but other countries in the area. Democracy is very difficult for them to understand, but wait until they see it in action, they will forever thank us. Just remember Japan and Germany after the world war. I think happy days are ahead. Lets create this mystically for a faster and better Cosmic creative action. So Mote It Be.

Recently I received the Forum from the Rosicrucian Order, A.M.O.R.C. In it is the Annual Letter from the Imperator. There is an interesting quote I'd like to share with you.
Imperator Bernard says "What I would wish for, dear Fratres and Sorores, is that you yourselves acknowledge this principle and that, whatever your political feelings may be, you do not mix them with your connection to ROsicrucianism."
Fratre Serafine has been kind enough to provide a forum where views of whatever matter may be discussed. In our chat room we will discuss the American Victory in Iraq and the implications that it has on the world at large. I am posting this here, however, in the event that you cannot make the chat and would still like to comment.
What does the victory in Iraq portend for the future of the world? Is the American dream one the world will embrace or ddespise or simply ignore? What do you think?
I quite agree with you but it is not over yet.
Yes, being mystics should give us strength enough to look above what is happening but.....Things are not quite what they seem.
Although I am American I live in Belgium. I am not surprised at the way the Belgians behaved because quiet simply the majority are afraid of the Islamics. There's an Imam in Molenbeek who claims he will have everyone living according to the Charia, most people have been mugged several times by young arab gangs, all the modern arab women in my neighborhood have started wearing the scarf and their husbands are growing beards, there's an islamic party in Antwerp that has joined forces with the Communist party ( yes, they are still around) and actually entered candidates during the last election. And this is going on all over Europe.
I think as mystics we can send out strength and bright lights to help but we have to be aware of what is going on.

As part of the training process we are going through as creative beings, we each have a part to play in partnership with God (The Cosmic), in the emerging world order. "As above, so below". Our world is a reflection of a higher dimension. The archer that is perfectly poised with a drawn bow and arrow has archieved an enviable balance and equilibrium, but not much else. As soon as the arrow is released into the freedom of new heights, all that poise and balance is lost. That is the nature of things. As a Christian Mystic, war and bloodshed is not my role. Mine is to evoke temperance, peace and harmony. We each have our role in this great Cosmic drama. Ultimately, all will be rsolved into the One. Just take pride in your role and do not lose heart if it seems others our undermining your effectiveness. Play your part with conviction and you will be empowered. This is a moment in eternity.
