To understand clearly the technique "Attunement with the Cosmic", one has to know the term Cosmic. Just what does Cosmic mean? Cosmic is not just another term for God but the totality of all that is, the active force of God, and everything in the universe and yet not one of these particulars. Therefore me, Frater Serafine and yourself are all part of this Cosmic


To attune with the Cosmic, we have to tune in with the ALL. It is not an AMORC secret but could be done by any one who can remain passive in contemplation and meditation.

The Rosicrucian word was "Cosmic Conscieness" which basically meant you could communicate with anybody and everything because you were connected in ways different then say driving a car - but just as effective. Suposedly all Rosicrucian teachers and officers had this ability. I'll not get into that now.




I find it fascinating that modern science tends to verify the possibly without even looking for it. The problem is behavior that is beneficial to a group of animals (or even bacteriums) that would normally be learned by observation or other close contact. Some times there is no contact and yet real learning occurs. Or some improvement occurs in a sort of vacume. That contradicts the old evelutionary theorum of the survival of the fittest. If there is no outside stimulus then why does progress still occur?




We know each human being has memories of his/her life from the beginning then are elusive but reachible thru hypnosis. Conventional science doent recogise anything more exotic although metaphysics suggests beings are actually more like recievers then indivuals. This is fascinating becuase we can't actually point to a certian section of the brain and say HERE are the memories. If that were so we could perform surgery on people who experienced something trumatic they desparately needed to forget. To say memories are actually stored elsewhere outside the being's form - and the being simply recieves them like radio waves - opens up endless possiblities of communication and learning.

Is this an AMORC secret?

Somewhere I had a rather classic poem I got from a Golden Dawn forum.....something on the lines of: "I am the God of the dark as well as the light". It practically scolded the reader to realize you couldn't have love with out hate and treating G*d like a wimp wouldn't work. Gregg Braden accounts a rather illuminating experience in which he visions the face of Lucifer who morhps into a crying child. Bradens explaination of this was that Lucifer was just doing his job, for the sake of humanity, creating the world in it's most gross aspects so that we could enjoy the whole and pick and choose what we thought was best. A most thankless task ...




I thought this over and was frankly alarmed by the implications. A person could obtain "cosmic conscieness" or some stage thereof and be more or less morally bankrupt. Such power in the wrong hands ..I shudder the think. And yet it begs the question alluded to in the first paragraft: are morals absolute or just something we humans invent for our own ego? Does our desires account for anything in the grand scheme of the cosmos? If love conqueres all do we even know what love is in our present state of incarnation?




Metaphysics, like astronomy, can open vast worlds that literally dwaft us in something insignificant. And yet we can claim to be effected in ways undifferent then anyone else who ever did or will live.




So now I tend to view the Cosmos as sort a "equal opportunity employer". It doesnt work that way in mundane life but at least the Cosmos doesnt seem to be predudiced. Still scary but hey respect comes before love anyways .....Im still working on the latter .......
