Uneven development

I am constantly amazed how the world works. It doesn't always go the way we want. It has it's own ideas and we can at best discover what works and what won't.

Sometimes you give something. An offering that will make a difference. Except it doesn't and it never will because no instructions come encluded. No happy ending; it may have made YOU feel good but it failed and that isn't good.

It can be a computer that was only understood by a "techie" or even a can of food to a person living in a society without can openers. Either way what was meant to be usefull winds up in the trash. All because there was no follow up.

Or people refuse your offering and that hurts your feelings. Mayby they just know their needs. I go to Thrith Shops and see the customers - poor desparate people living where I don't - I see what they are buying there. The basics. I understand why I try to donate exotic stuff only to be rebuffed. They can't sell that kind of stuff and turn it into cash.

As above so below. In Metaphysics I see and feel a most uneven development. Some have already learned a "trick" and are ready to put it to use. Others don't even know what you mean and have no evidence that supernatural power exists. We live in an age of vast knowledge and declining demand for skills. Most enigmatic. You can see college grads flipping burgers. I shutter to think what I CAN'T see ....but I know it must be there .

I try to find out what people are really capable of using before I try to help. I am amazed at the asumptions made about me. It is like anything I accomplished was done at great expense of something else. I could easily be in college or kindergarten - depending on the subject. I love intellectualism. Thinking is supreme. But I realize I need much more.

I hope the others will post THEIR thoughts more. Even if it seems silly or off base it may be an important start. And we all need to catch up in certain areas ......

There's something that I tend to see as I look about the world which would surprise some. That's is that everyone receives that which is needed for them at the time. If someone needed to understand why doing hurtful things to others is bad, then they oft experience those hurtful things upon themselves lending to the understanding and eventually leading them away from doing such.

I don't see development as uneven, just that each is at a different part, and each has experiences that the other may not.
