HAPPY SAMHAIN (and Halloween and Dia de los Muertos!)



Chocolate de Mexicanos (Serves Four)

An Aztec Priest Drink served at
El Dia de Muerte ~ Dia de los Muertos
(Day of the Dead October 31st to November 2nd.)

4 1/4 cups milk
4 ounces (at least) of melted semi~sweet baking chocolate
5 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1 shot (at least) tequila

Melt chocolate:
chopped up in a double boiler with hot not boiling water,
chopped up in the microwave on low or defrost.

Bring indredients (minus tequila) to a boil in a saucepan.
With a whisk, froth the ingredients until the potient stops boiling.
Stir in tequila.
Serve in mugs garnished with cinnamon sticks.
