Walks
I'm new to the area and a few weeks back I went rambling along some public paths south of Banham and got lost. I couldn't work out where I was as the paths are ploughed up. Is anyone like me a bit cheesed off and interested in getting something done about it? |

Hi, this is a long running Saga Kevan! Several people have tried very hard over the past couple of years to get them better maintained but without much success. I wish you better luck!

On a more positive note the footpath between Doe Lane and the Dam Brigg (also Doe Lane to the Garden House) which I tend to walk regularly is well looked after - the grass is kept short making for a very pleasant walk. It's nice when the landowners take the care to look after the paths and very much appreciated (I suspect they don't get a lot of good feedback, just complaints when they don't look after them properly!) So to all of you that look after the footpaths - keep up the good work. There are people out there that appreciate it. |

I agree Paul......it IS nice when the footpaths are properly maintained for us all to enjoy them and appreciation will, I'm sure, be forthcoming from us all if this continues to be the case.
