Shankles
I first heard this man in the early 80's with his merismos series, I heard him in person and have actually met him. I found him to be very rude and arrogant and am unfortunately not surprised by the postings I am reading concerning him and his church. It is surprising to see that he is still in circulation. I would suppose like most that he started with all the right motives. It is sad that many of these preachers fall victim to their own sin nature. It seems that television got the better of him and he refused any and all correction that would interfere with what had become "his goals" for TV ministry success. I know for a fact that he had asked for a man I know to help keep him balanced and fruitful, however when this man had decided to correct his actions Shankle blatantly refused this correction. Well we see where a man now goes when he decides to travel his own road and ignore the call that God undoubtedly placed on his life originally. My advise to those caught up in his church, go somewhere else, I think there are several charismatic churches that are indeed doing well for themselves and for their people. There are also many non-charismatic churches which accomplish the same. God is still good, and always will be. |

I'm puzzled and perplexed at all I've read about CIM. I've never been to Marshall and know little about CIM. However, I do know much about R.S. I cannot believe he would wantonly deceive or take advantage of anyone. I believe he is a man who believes whole-heartedly in his positions, some with which I would, no doubt, disagree. I'm sorry to learn that some were hurt. That should never happen. Would someone please enlighten me regarding the "inner workings" of the leadership there? There have been no specific reports. And what is with all this fear of disclosure? This isn't the mafia! The notion you might be in danger seems absurd. |

RUN!!!! Everywhere this man goes churches split. All I have seen is division and destruction. Been there seen it and done it. Praise God for his mercy and deliverance. |

I am a pastors son and I come from South Africa. I went through the school of the prophets of Randy's as my father believed that Randy had the full picture and that the church on earth is babylon. I had a problem with many things that came out of his mouth at that stage. I sat with the leadership and said that any church that believes that they have arrived and the rest of the body are babylon has to be a cult. The deception ran so deep that my father never could escape it. My father left my mom at that stage because randy said that my mom was the seat of satan in our church and then 2 years later burned my dad by stealing all his leadership and started a church of his own in Cape Town. He also stayed in my house at the time that his first wife had died of Cancer and got involved with one of my room mates. He got very raunchy with her while I was around. He even got sent off the beach by a policeman because he was being so sexual with her before they got married. Two weeks later he then promptly married her and whisked her of to Marshall without her even meeting his kids. How is that. His teachings are all stolen from books out of the 60's and 70's anyway like watchman nee etc. His lifestyle is a messy affair and he has small man syndrome and has an infatuation with bass pro shop christianity with all his camoflauge etc. he ruined our ministry, my relationship with my dad, very successful church in Cape Town amongst low income people and I am still struggling with forgiveness towards this false prophet. |

Where is Daniel's witnesses? I am certainly not agreeing with Jordan in any way, but it sounds like Daniel is making a lot of unsupported accusations. It's obvious, Doma, you are willing to take the side of anyone who has something bad to say about Randy Shankle. |
