I wonder if volunteers will rush forward?
VOLUNTEERS WANTED – NOW - TO REVIEW THE COOKHAM PLAN Cookham Parish Council would like to hear from anyone who can find some time to review The Cookham Plan. If you live in Cookham Dean as part of Bisham parish – you are welcome to volunteer your help too! |

Dear Jonus Teagle It is very nice of you to post this request on behalf of Cookham Parish Council - however no one to my knowledge from the Parish Council office asked you to do so. For regular readers of this column - whenever I post a message from the Parish Council I always include my full response details at the Parish Office. Goodness Janet, I don't think Jonus Teagle was trying to steal your thunder! His post in no way suggests he is speaking "on behalf of the Parish Council". My interpretation was of an individual trying to spread local information to the widest possible audience in the community, which surely is what this forum is all about? I'm very glad to hear individuals are volunteering in numbers, and who knows, maybe Jonus Teage's post might encourage some more

Dear Jonus and Kate I do apologise if I sounded a little paranoid. I am sure you can appreciate that my job is a little difficult at the moment. I just want to make sure that messages coming out of the Parish Council office are from me and not other interested parties! No offence was meant.
