STOP CENSORING THIS FORUM!!!
Your recent censorship of a thread is unjustified, this is the voice of the people of Cookham. Not only have you censored our complaints but you have given him a platform to promote his business! ( Wonder How Many Curries he has offered you??? I shall be writing to you advertisers informing them of the situation! Asking if they defend an 8 month pregnant woman being physically manhandled out of a restaurant! |

Arnold, I too am stunned at this. There was a healthy debate surrounding Malik and his treatment of a group of women. It has been selectively censored and removed from this site, and effectively replaced with an advert for the offending restaurant... Whoever is behind this site should feel utterly ashamed of themselves. Goodness knows what kind of pressure or, as is more likely, co-ersion was applied. How long before this thread disappears?! |

I like Malik's, and I can't believe this. The review outwith the forum but also on the Cookham site has also gone. It sets a terrible precedent, and really harms the integrity of the site. |

The fact that the thread was removed only goes to show that the webmaster/site owner/administrator or whoever is obviously not concerned about the right to free speech. Maliks restaurant has come in for criticism because there are obviously some areas of the service which needs to be addressed, and offering discounts is not going to wipe out some very serious issues of customer service that are lacking. It seems to me that Maliks is bankrolling this website - why else would the previous thread have been removed? People were only stating what has gone wrong with Maliks - they certainly have a right to do that. The food at Maliks is excellent - I have always enjoyed it - but the way they are treating customers needs to be looked at in a big way. That is why people are writing in with complaints on here. Don't have the thread removed - just take the criticism and try to learn from it and improve. It'll pay off when Maliks returns to the way we know it can be - excellent food with excellent service. |

Hasn't enough of "the truth" been heard without it now becoming repetitive and boring ? Both sides have had their say and it was high time the volunteer webmaster guillotined what was fast becoming a slanging match between the two sides. However, if the anti-Malik brigade honestly believe that the "censorship" was invoked as a form of gratuity for a mere £6 per head saving on a meal at a time when other Easter activities dominate family life, then they surely have missed the point entirely. |

Observer - I think you're the one whose missed the point... Having read your comments on the Maliks thread I get the feeling you might have missed the point on purpose. It's quite simple, if you find this thread "repetitive and boring" DON'T READ IT!!! |

I must admit to being totally perplexed myself JJ! Allegations such as Sly and Co make are amusing to the extent they follow the same monotonous repetitive bleating path of the demonic Malik either terrorising his clients or else offering them bribes of money or curries. Quite frankly, if the allegations weren't so amusing they would classify as both childish and pathetic. But hey ho, it keeps them happy! I'm off to enjoy my "bribe" in a couple of hours or so ... but haven't decided whether to take the money or settle for a chicken Dopiatza!!

This is just (MY HUMBLE OPINION) but ther does seem to be a fair amount of "selective"  censorship going on BUT im sure this will be censored almost straight away
