SS AUSTRALIS.
I see the last lot of pics wow! she is going down so sad I am going to miss seeing her when she lays down . This ship was a great ship of the world.Saw the ships coming into Sydney they looked huge. I was in the Australis when she was there in 1965 was docked right next to where the Opera house is, that was half built at the time.At the time she was known as the worlds largest passanger liner at that time. Makes you wander how the people from the war are thinking about her as she helped them to and from.Done more for all of us then the titanic, served a lot of people in the world.Would like to say thanks for the last lot of photo's they look real scary with the wind surfer,so cool!!! cheers everyone have a good easter break. form maureen

Hi just to let you know we went on holiday and went to see the ship SS Australis. It was so so sad to see her falling apart and being eaten by the sea. Think it will only be a month or two and she will be gone for ever. Never to be seen in day light ever again. The picture you see on here make me feel so sad . She realy was a great ship in her time. I go back there in September and will go back just one more time to see if she is still there but i don"t hold much hope for her. Please reply to me if you get this email ok , hope you do......
