Looking for passengers
Voyage to Australia Feb/March 1970. I am looking for a passenger by the name of Rosemary Lutz, that was her maiden name. Also Hillary ?? nicknamed Illa, he was a friend on the ship. I would like to thank you Wolfram for preserving so many images and memories of the grand old lady Australis. I sailed from UK to New Zealand on her in 1972 after travelling to UK from Fremantle via New Zealand and New York in the same year. I loved her for the old world charm and certainly for the fun. I was in the fruity melodrama as the villan "hissing in the pit" on both trips.I have some pictures somewhere but no digital camera to add them to your collection. I have a collection of all my old ships up on the wall, I'm amazed there are so many. Regards Robert |
