I would encourage village residents to have a look at the Face Book Group Stilton Massive which has started a thread about the disgusting car which is at the entrance to our lovely village.
Despite numerous letters to the Scan and to Barry Chamberlain still nothing is being done to get it moved. We were told by Olive Main and by the Police in October that there was a council order that it should be moved by mid November! Nice to see that these things are policed properly hey.
Perhaps the resident who owns the piece of junk would like to consider if it is right that at other times he has the cheek to represent our village at events such a cheese rolling. Frankly a disgrace!
Someone asks on another forum if there is also an abandoned vandalised car at the entrance to St Christol, I wonder if they are also as proud? I wish I had a pound for every time someone who doesn’t live here asks what the deal is with the car. We as residents are sick of it and will be doing something proactive in the very near future. please show your support. |
