IRON MAIDEN Ozzfest show...sabotaged!!!!
For those not there: Its all over the net by now but in brief....sound was cut 4 times on purpose...eggs and other debris thrown at Bruce...a guy comes out in underwear waving an American Flag during "The Trooper" (when Bruce does his traditional waving of the Union Jack) OZZY-OZZY chants over the PA were brought up in the mix...waaaaaaaay to much bad blood betweeen Bruce and Sharon based on comments made in the press and on stage. Tonight in San Bernadino was the official last night for Maiden on Ozzfest but the gloves came off in the form of a full technical sabotage of Iron Maiden's set. Sucks for the fans (young & old) to have to endure what happened. In closing Sharon walked onto stage afterwards....thanked the band and the IM crew but stated and I quote: "But their singer Bruce Dickinson is a p r i c k! "Then walked off. BRUTAL. |

I was really disappointed about what happened to Iron Maiden. Regards with all the trouble they had, they stuck it out strong. I didn't let it ruin my experience with watching and headbanging to Maiden. I am sorry that happened to Iron Maiden. Read my post under asioux70 about the show.
