I had put this post in the wrong discussion, so I am re posting it.
Hello, I was just doing a bit of reminiscing. Found this site, loved it and thought i would say hi to anyone that may read this.
I was born in Eccleshill, ( The Bank) in 1964 and moved to Australia with my family in 1973.
We were a large family of 8 children and lived most of our time in Eccleshill at Faltis square.
I had a friend at school and she lived near a pub at the top of The Bank. I would love to contact her somehow and catch up. Her name was Anne Dennison. She was a thin girl with blonde hair. I had 1 lead that took me to the Bradford social services, I'm sure she works there but I cannot get any contact details. If anyone knows of my family, ( surname: YATES) or of Anne, could you leave a message please. I shall check in often for any news. And if there is no info re: Anne, I would be happy to just hear from anyone who may have known our family. My siblings were, Eileen, Richard, David, Peter, Michael, Paul and Helen, parents, Flo and Terry. Thanx everyone .
