Hello All, last weekend the weather was beginning
to show signs of summer. The riding was good as
long as you kept moving. During the afternoon it
was nice to get into the shade or the AC. Since I
mentioned summer, it is getting close to Memorial
Day weekend so I want everyone to mark Sunday May
25th (that is Memorial Day Weekend) on their
calendars. ABATE Southeast Chapter is hosting its
Memorial Day Event. This year we will have the
veterans from the nursing home and a service
honoring those that gave their lives for our
country. There will also be live music, food and
fun. The event starts at noon at Café 27. I hope to see you there.

If you wish to participate in the (coffee and
doughnuts) breakfast with the veterans, you can
ride over to Sandy Ninninger Nursing Home at 9:30
AM on Sunday the 25th. After that we will be
riding to the Pyramid (Forest Lawn Cemetery) for
a Memorial Day Service at 11AM. Following the
service we will ride to Café 27 for our event.

Saturday morning we need a few bikes to ride road
guard for the Triathlon. We will be meeting at
Lester’s Diner on State Rd. 84. Breakfast is at 5
AM and ride out is at 6:15. For information call Jimbo at 954-305-1599.

This Saturday night ABATE will be having its’
monthly birthday celebration at the Hurricane
Sports Bar and Grill. The party starts at 7:30 PM
so all you May babies don't be late. The band
Trucker will be providing the live music.
Hurricanes is located at 370 E. Dania Beach Blvd.

Also on Saturday is the Rambo birthday party. He
will be turning 60and will be partying at Island
Jacks. Both Rambo and Cherish have many medical
bills from past treatments and money from this
party will give them both much needed financial
relief. This party starts at noon and lasts till?
Island Jacks is located at 5245 W. Atlantic Blvd.

This Sunday ABATE Southeast Chapter is having
its’ monthly meeting. It will be at the American
Legion Post 321 in Cooper City. The American
Legion is located at 9081 SW 51st Street in
Cooper City. From Griffin Rd. take 90th Ave.
south to 51st Street and turn right. The American
Legion is 1/8 mile on the left. For information

10 AM. If you have any drawing ticket stubs and
money please bring them to the meeting.

After the meeting, there will be a group ride to
the Black Pistons 3rd Annual. The party is at the
AOA Clubhouse in Dania Beach. There will be live
music, games, prizes, vendors and of course
Howie’s Famous Fish Fry. For information call 954-451-4546.

Dust is retiring and moving out of town. There is
a party for him at the Wheels of Man Clubhouse on

Our condolences to Rick and Maureen Hernandez at the passing of a loved one.

“Blackie” the Knifeman passed away. There is a
memorial celebration for him on Saturday, May 17.
The Memorial is from 1PM to 4PM at 717 E River

Thursday night is bike night at Swigs Bartini &
Bistro in the Weston Town Center. Ladies are

spending too much money. Swigs Bartini & Bistro
with the classic rock to make bike night the

Do you need a little Saturday night
entertainment? Well stop in at the Blue Jay
Lounge and listen to Bahama Bob. The Blue Jay
Lounge is a nice little place in Pompano that is
friendly to ABATE Members and their friends. Show
your ABATE membership card to the bartender and
get 10% off you bill. Stop in on Sunday watch the
big screen TVs, enjoy the free buffet and shoot
some pool. Blue Jays Lounge is at 301 SW 15th

Candy’s Cycle Shop will be closed from the 15th

Beer barn, Davie, Beer Barn Davie, these go
together and I think it is mandatory or
something. Any way the Juke Box is always rockin’
and sometimes there is live music. Friday and
Saturday nights is Karaoke you can drink and sing
till your hearts content. Check out the Guy and
Gals nights on Monday and Tuesday $2.25 well
drinks and more. The Beer Barn is a full liquor
bar. Look for the Beer Barn at 4223 Davie Rd. Call 954-584-4644.


Chef Joel says stop by Wetz Pub. This Friday
night Hat Trick will make Wetz Pub a rockin’
place. The music will start at 9:30 PM. Make a
point on the first and third Friday evening and
take part in the free buffet. Wetz Pub also has
two pool tables for your enjoyment. There are
nice people there, cool drinks and the ladies
behind the bar are real good for the eyes. This
is a great place to relax and have fun. The

Looking for something to do this Thursday? Guys
you can stop by On The Road Again Thursday
evening between 7PM an 9PM. On The Road Again is

Roger invite you and your friends to relax and

JP Mulligans invites you back to their place on
the SW corner of Taft and Flamingo. Saturday
Night is Bike Night at JP Mulligans. Come out and
listen to the music by Boys Night Out. Daily
specials include 2-4-1 on Monday and Tuesday.
Then on Thursday nights it is ladies night so
girls come and get your free drinks. Of course
the great patronage makes this place a must stop.

Luke’s Place … It is the place to be. This Friday
and Saturday night you will rock with a great
band (Double Standard) from 9PM till 1AM. Each

Chuck is looking for some pool players so all you
good stickmen talk to Chuck. Luke's Place likes
bikers and will give them happy hour prices every
day from Noon till 8 PM. Stop by and watch sports
and enjoy the NASCAR Races on the flat screen
TVs. There is something for everyone at Luke's

There is a new place in Miramar called R-Bar.
This biker friendly place has different specials
each night. Monday and Tuesday nights after 6PM.
you get 75 cent drafts. There is Karaoke, kill
the keg and live music on the weekends. Come and
check out R-Bar and shoot a game of pool. Ride

At the Texas Rose Saloon they have lingerie shows
three days a week. Also this Thursday a band
called Sundown will perform live music. They play
that country music and get the folks to do the
Line Dancin’. Then on Friday and Saturday you
will get to hear Rough Shot, from 9PM until 1AM.
Stop by on Sunday for the NASCAR Cup Races and
receive special food and drink prices. The Texas

Mickey’s, South Florida's Legendary Bar, is

the Beach is the place for you. Bu’s on the
Beach is just north of Hollywood Blvd on the
beach. Wednesday night is Bike Night with DJ
Gnarley Charlie from 97.3 Coast doing the tunes.
The fun starts at 7PM so don't be late. The food
is great and the specials make it even better.
BU's is the Bar and Grill that is just one block
north of Hollywood Blvd. Take Arizona Street east
and you are there. Sat. & Sun. 3-7 you can get 2
burgers and a bucket for $20. ABATE Members also
get a 15% discount anytime they show their card.

Coconut Creek Tap House is an easy place to find.
Take the Sawgrass Express Way and exit south on
Lyons Rd. The Tap House is on the west side of
Lyons Rd. ABATE Members will get a 15% discount
off their bill on all the delicious food. Yes
sir, these people are great. They also have 35
different brands of beer on tap and 99 cent
drafts. You will be entertained on Sunday with
NASCAR on big screen TVs. Don’t forget there are
pool tables and darts for you to enjoy. The

Thursday night is the new bike night at Café 27,
so stop in for a cold beer and enjoy the live
music with the Gypsy Road Band. Cafe 27 is on US
27 just north of Griffin Rd. Café 27 has Lingerie
Girls for you Monday through Thursday evenings.
Coming soon to Café 27, is the ABATE SE Chapter
Memorial Day Event, so look for the ad. This week
take a little ride way out west and enjoy
yourself at the Café 27. Café 27 is located at
4690 US Hwy. 27, Sunshine Ranches.


Ballers Rock and Roll Sports Bar is a Biker Bar
like no other! Located at 3200 West Hallandale
Beach Blvd. It is just west of Interstate 95 and
has the hottest girls in South Florida. Ballers
Rock and Roll Sports Bar has Tuesday night as a
bike night with live music and drink specials.
They are starting a special paint ball contest
hosted by Madd Matt from Wheels on the Road
magazine, so come on out and party with him. On a
Saturday night, well come and see for yourself.

Remember your local motorcycle clubs. On Friday
night the Keltic's MC, Der Krieger MC and the
Black Pistons MC have their open houses.
Black Pistons address is 1065 NW 53 St. Ft.
Lauderdale. That is just north of Commercial Blvd. and east of I 95
Der Krieger's Clubhouse is 5925 SW 42 Place, Bld. 16 in Davie.
Keltic's MC Clubhouse is 2041 SW 70th Ave. It is
just south of State Rd. 84, in Davie. .
Wheels of Man MC Clubhouse, on 1252 SW 1st Way,
Deerfield, is opened after 8PM on Wednesday and Friday.
Everyone should stop by and have a cold drink with some cool Bro's.
