Message:   Why are you mentioning so many places to stop at to get drunk in your newsletter? I seems that ABATE of Florida puts a higher price on partying than the real ABATE issues.

Now, I like beer a lot myself. But doing so to the point that I am drunk. is done when the scoot is parked for the night. Your newsletter seems to encourage riding while drunk which is a stupid damn thing to do. I seriously urge you to consider what you are typing when you are sending out the newsletter.

What you are saying detracts from what a lot of motorcyclist rights organizations are trying to accomplish. Your article makes it seem that ABATE in your region is all about partying.

Take this for what you will as I am slightly intoxicated right now at home. But my scoot is parked in the garage for the night, and no one needs to worry about me killing someone or getting myself killed.

Drinking should only commence when the scoot is parked for the night. Mentioning a bunch of beer stops (which seems to be a trend for ABATE of FL newsletters) doesn't seem to be a wise thing and gives us motorcyclists a bad rap.
