I have first hand knowledge from our Biker supporters. This is truly redundant! How can this society be so blind to the facts of causation of the accident, and who is to blame, when 50% of motorcycle accidents are caused by Distracted Drivers and 34% are caused by Drivers making left hand turns in front of an oncoming motorcyclist, ( Final Report 2005 NHTSA). I am also appalled to the fact of the bias nature most Journalist have in obtaining the right stats for the right to wear or not wear a helmet. Issues as these are nothing but a Band-Aid solution to a greater concern of motorcyclist. Automobile Drivers are protected by sheet metal, motorcyclist are protected by their dress and safety and educational habits. This isn't " one in the same " , facts category!
