I've been thinking about this along with ya'll and the best use I can come up with is exactily what you've done rc. That is, use it as a hard example to discredit an important source of misinformation. However it actually came about and whatever the motive was, it can stand as an example of the dishonesty we so often have to go up against in our fight for personal freedom. The other thoughts expressed in this thread are valid and I can't really add to the scope. This one is just frustrating as hell.
