Message:   All states are supposed to report VMT. However all states don't. NHTSA seems to think that based on the data they do receive it is a fair representative sampling. 1. How would any state reliably gather that statistic? 2. Riding conditions are not factored in to the VMT. Some VMT are more dangerous or difficult than others. 3. Any study using these bogus figures is a bogus study.

I know many who do not like to drive on interstates. My preference, no lights, no stop signs, no side roads, few dogs, fewer opportunities for someone to take you out (ya do gots to watch fer them alligators though)rc
