LPG KIT / Range Rover inner wings
Hi All I have brought a 4.2 LSE classic Range Rover for spares, as I am in the middle of renovating my own. The spare Range Rover has a full LPG Gas kit. It has two tank were the petrol tank used to be, and a small petrol tank under the RHR wing. I drove this vehicle on gas from Stockport with no problems at all. I all ready have a gas convert on my own LSE, so this one is up for sale, (I will supply the tea coffee) but buyer will have to remove it. The reason is I haven’t the time, and it also allows the buyer to see how it’s fitted. If anyone is interested send me an email, or give me a call with a sensible offer. Any money I make will go towards replacing my inner wings, which leads me to the second part of this add. I am looking for some information. I would like to get my inner wing replaced, does anyone know how much this cost, I have been quoted 600 to 700 pound. This includes the inner wings with headlight holder and labour, is this good? Also the person would have to come to me as the car inertia is completely stripped so the car can’t be driven. I live in Birmingham so any info would be greatly appreciated. Inner wings can be bought for approx £140 each, complete as you quoted. so add welding and labour,could be as low as £250 for the job. Or, you can dismantle the car yourself and just find someone to weld it in for you. |
